The focus will be on all aspects of safe gun handling and basic shooting skills. There will be a written test at the end of the course. An 80% score and range proficiency are required to receive certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Class will be held to a maximum of 10 students. <strong>Registration will be on a first come first served basis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Location: West Manchester Twp. Farmers &amp; Sportsmen Association<br>4900 Pine Hill Rd., Dover, PA. 17315<br>Date: To Be Determined (rain or shine)<br>Time: 8:00 am until 3:00 pm<br>Cost: $TBD (non-members) $TBD (members) payable to WMTFSA, (mailed to Brian Kimball @ 6245 Salem Run Rd. Dover, PA. 17315. Payment required Two weeks prior to the training date.<br>No refund will be given unless another student can fill the position.<br>Contact Person: Brian Kimball (Instructor) 717-578-9515<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Things to Bring to class:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Handgun (Revolver or Semi-auto) (Any caliber)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>200 rounds minimum of ammunition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eye protection (Must have while on the range)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ear protection (Must have while on the range)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clothing suitable for the current weather conditions. Coats, hat, boots etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal identification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Side holster (Suggested but not mandatory) No horizontal shoulder holsters permitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gun cleaning equipment (Student required to understand the disassemble of their handgun)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper and pencil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snacks\/Lunch\/Drinks<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Agenda:<\/strong><br>8:00am: Introductions and course overview<br>8:30am: Classroom instructions<br>11:30am: General discussion and review<br>12:00: Noon Snack Break (lunch) Range rules. (You are responsible for your own lunch, snacks and drinks)<br>12:30 -2:00 Range Shooting<br>2:00 &#8211; 2:30 Gun Cleaning<br>2:30 \u2013 3:00 Review and Testing<br>Class dismissed.
